SARINA ROHRIG & CALI
In 2017, the Boulder City Police Department’s Chief Shea, and Officer Pastore presented to the Boulder City Horseman’s Association the vision of incorporating the Mounted Unit to the police department. She also is involved with equine assisted psychotherapy and enjoys cattle sorting. Her main Posse horse his Cali, a pinto mustang mare that came from Caliente, NV. Ginger, her palomino quarter horse mare is her alternate posse horse. The Martinez family has graciously allowed for Cali to be in service with the Boulder City Mounted Posse. Sarina greatly enjoys volunteering and supporting law enforcement. She also enjoys the opportunity to introduce horses to the community and educating the public about horses and the rural lifestyle. “Horses are incredible, with incredible hearts and intelligence. What a great way to bring our communities together and support our law enforcement and first responders with our amazing equine partners. I am blessed to get to be on a horse and serve in this capacity.”
